The 8th International Research Symposium of University of Vocational Technology will be held at the University of Vocational Technology on December 12th with the participation of multidisciplinary researchers from local and foreign universities and institutes in the tertiary and vocational education sector. IRS 2024 will be a platform for researchers to disseminate knowledge in their latest research under the theme “Vocational Technology Education for a Sustainable Greener Economy”
The symposium features 5 tracks:
Best practices, innovative teaching methods, curriculum designs and other innovations in education that promote integrating sustainability principles into TVET
Applications of engineering technology to explore new avenues in the green economy, with a particular focus on construction, manufacturing, mechatronics, and building services.
New innovation in digital technologies, ICT and creative industries that contributes to enhancement of sustainable greener economy
Critical role of innovation, entrepreneurship, and vocational technology in building economic resilience by driving economic growth, adaptability, and sustainability in the face of global challenges.
Innovative sustainable practices in various sectors, including agriculture & food, construction, manufacturing, and service industries, to achieve economic growth while preserving natural resources and promoting social well-being.
The full paper including the list of references should not six (6) A4 size pages. The details of the author shall not be included within the paper and a separate cover sheet with author details and sub-theme shall be submitted. Final research papers will be double-blind reviewed by a review panel
The research papers should be submitted to the Conference Management Toolkit (CMT).
Submitted articles must not have been previously published, nor should they be submitted for consideration for publication elsewhere, while under review for this symposium. The similarity index for the plagiarism check is maximum of 20%.
All accepted and presented full papers will be published in a conference proceedings book with an ISSN number and made available for online access.
The selected, leading papers of the IRS 2024 conference will be published by Springer Nature as an e-proceeding
