Our Impact

The IET On Campus network at the University of Vocational Technology has played a significant role in empowering engineering and technology students by fostering innovation, leadership, and professional development. As part of the global IET community, our society actively contributes to shaping future engineers capable of addressing real-world challenges. Our society has organized a wide range of technical workshops, seminars, and training sessions focused on key areas such as robotics, embedded systems, and automation. These initiatives help students bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical application while developing essential soft skills like leadership and project management. Through industry engagement and global networking, we have established connections with professionals and experts, enabling students to gain exposure to real-world practices. Our members consistently participate in national-level competitions, bringing recognition to UoVT within the IET Sri Lanka On Campus network.
