Demonstrator – Department of Agriculture and Food Technology

Applications are invited from suitably qualified citizens of Sri Lanka to serve at the University of Vocational Technology for the post of Demonstrator (Temporary – One Post) in the Faculty of Industrial Technology, Department of Agriculture and Food Technology.

Qualifications: A Degree in the relevant field. 'Degree' means a Degree offered by a University or a Higher Educational Institution established by an Act of Parliament of Sri Lanka or recognized by the University Grants Commission of Sri Lanka. 'In the relevant field' means a degree relevant to the degree programmes conducted by the University of Vocational Technology.

Nature of Appointment: The appointment is temporary with entitlement to Employees Provident Fund (EPF) and Employees Trust Fund (ETF). Period of appointment is limited to one year.

Salary Scale: Salaries will be paid as per the provisions of Management Service Circular No.06/2025 dated 25/03/2025.

Age: Should be not less than twenty two (22) years and not more than forty five (45) years unless otherwise mentioned. The upper age limit will not apply to internal candidates.

Selection Procedure: Structured Interview.

Every applicant should be a citizen of Sri Lanka, should be physically and mentally fit to discharge the duties of the post, and should be of excellent moral character.
