As a first step in the journey of standardizing the University of Vocational Technology as an international university, the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Prasanna Premadasa, has presented the appointment letters for appoint as new Directors under three subject areas effective from 18th February 2026.
Prof. R A C Jayalath has been appointed as the Chairperson of the Grievance Redressal Committee (GRC), ensuring a fair and transparent process for addressing institutional concerns.
Ms. M Thenabadu has been appointed as the Director of the Center for Gender Equity and Equality (CGEE), tasked with fostering an inclusive and equitable environment for all staff and students.
Mr. H A G Madushanka has been appointed as the Director of the International Affairs Division (IAD). In this role, he will oversee the university’s global partnerships and international academic collaborations.
All three appointments have been made for a tenure of one year, reflecting the university's commitment to dynamic leadership and administrative excellence.
