Entrepreneur Development Program 2026

The "Brain into Business" Entrepreneurship Development Programme was successfully conducted on 24th July 2025 at the University of Vocational Technology. The programme was organized by the Department of Industrial Management in collaboration with the National Enterprise Development Authority (NEDA), aiming to promote entrepreneurship and innovation among students.

The opening ceremony was honored by the presence of the Acting Vice Chancellor, Dr. L.W.S. Kularathne, whose participation highlighted the university’s commitment to fostering entrepreneurial excellence and industry engagement.

This intensive three-day workshop focused on transforming creative ideas into viable business ventures. Through interactive sessions, practical guidance, and expert insights, undergraduates were equipped with essential knowledge and skills required to become successful entrepreneurs. The programme encouraged students to think beyond traditional career paths and inspired them to convert their innovative ideas into sustainable business opportunities.
