2026The Manufacturing sector is one of the fast-growing sectors both in the Sri Lankan as well as in the global economy. The Bachelor of Engineering Technology in Manufacturing Technology program offered by the University of Vocational Technology has been designed to enhance the competencies of the participants in a variety of areas, enabling them to face future challenges with confidence.
The program provides in-depth knowledge on aspects of manufacturing technology with respect to process, machinery, materials, and tooling. It imparts competencies on computer-aided design and manufacturing, as well as the design and operation of automated manufacturing systems.
